Advocating in front of Raleigh City Council, Apex City Council, and Pittsboro City Council for NYC-based environmental justice bills (Intro 886 and Intro 359)
-Coordinating Raleigh's Youth v Gov Rally in honor of the Supreme Court Case Juliana vs. US
-We recently joined the NC CJJ coalition--a consortium of environmental justice groups statewide sponsored by the People's Climate Movement to unite the intersectional EJ movement
-Cash Bail Reform Movie Night w/over 90 attendees; panelists including Joe Killian from NC Policy Watch, Sen. Mike Woodard, Judge Fred Battaglia, Attorney David Hall, Sarah Gillooly from ACLU-NC, Lawrence Carpenter from Inmates to Entrepreneurs
-2018 Voter Registration Drive at Enloe, Northwood, Cary Academy, Millbook, and Raleigh Charter; registered & pre-registered over 290 voters
-Raleigh City Council Advocacy Work for ACLU Freedom City Model Policies 7, 8, and 9; propositions considered by the Raleigh City Attorney
-2018 Voter Registration drives at Raleigh Charter, Holly Springs High School (in conjunction with MFOL Raleigh), and Cary Academy
